Planning & Reminders

Remind senders to use their gifting balance

Encourage thoughtful gifting with a Slack reminder two weeks before month end, showing available balance and eligible Reachdesk gifts. Requires a configured recurring scheduler.

When to use it

You want to help senders use their available gifting balance before month end. Set this up for each sender, using their own Reachdesk connection. It needs Slack and a recurring scheduler that refreshes Reachdesk data at each run. A scheduled Slack message alone won't refresh balances.

What your AI assistant does

  1. Checks the sender's accessible Reachdesk wallet balances, shows each currency separately and labels any shared team wallet.
  2. Suggests Reachdesk gifts the sender can use for relevant gifting.
  3. Posts a reminder in your chosen Slack channel, with links to keep sending gifts or find alternatives in the AI assistant.

Example prompt

Ready-to-use prompt
Inputs: [TEAM_NAME], [FALLBACK_SLACK_CHANNEL], [AI_ASSISTANT] (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) Remind senders in [TEAM_NAME] (“the team”) to use their Reachdesk gifting balance. 1. BALANCES Use the Reachdesk wallet tools (listUserWallets, listTeamWallets, filtered to the team, all pages) to get each sender’s own balances by currency. Label personal vs. shared team wallets. List only non-zero currencies and note the zero ones in one line. Never use my data as a stand-in for anyone else’s. 2. GIFTS For each sender, pick up to 3 gifts that fit their job role (Reachdesk profile, else Slack title; ask me if neither exists). Each must: - be sendable via an active campaign available to them - cost less than their balance, in the paying wallet’s currency - ship to the recipient’s country (if unknown, say availability depends on it) Text only, no product cards or photos. 3. SLACK DM DM each sender (by Slack user ID, not a channel) in this format: Hi [FIRST_NAME]! 👋 Your Reachdesk gifting balance is ready to use 🎁 You’ve got unused gifting funds, and a thoughtful gift can turn a quiet prospect or a great customer chat into something memorable. Here’s where you stand and three ideas picked for your work as [ROLE]. 💰 Your balance ([personal / shared] wallets) - [CURRENCY] [AMOUNT] ([Zero currencies] at 0; [no shared team wallet / shared wallet balance].) ✨ Three gifts to consider (all fit your [CURRENCY] balance) 1. [GIFT], [PRICE] [One friendly line on when to send it for this role.] 👉 Preview this gift in [AI_ASSISTANT] 2. [GIFT], [PRICE] …same format… 3. [GIFT], [PRICE] …same format… All three go through the [CAMPAIGN] campaign (ID [ID]). How it works: click a link to open [AI_ASSISTANT] (with Reachdesk connected), add your recipient’s details, and review the preview. Nothing is sent until you say so. Happy gifting! 🍪☕ Each [LINK] = [AI_ASSISTANT]’s new-chat URL with the prompt prefilled, built from the URL-encoded text: “Preview a gift send: [GIFT] (Reachdesk marketplace product [PRODUCT_ID], [PRICE]) from campaign [ID] ([CAMPAIGN]). Recipient: [first name, last name, email, company, country]. Show me the preview and wait for my OK before sending anything.” Use these URL formats: - Claude: https://claude.ai/new?q= - ChatGPT: https://chatgpt.com/?q= For any other assistant, if you don’t know its prefill URL format, ask me. Plain text only, recipient placeholder left blank, no personal data, fully URL-encoded. 4. EXCEPTIONS For any sender with no Slack match, no wallet, or no determinable role, don’t guess. Post one general reminder to [FALLBACK_SLACK_CHANNEL] asking them to connect their own Reachdesk account to [AI_ASSISTANT], check their balance and find gifts (no balances or gift suggestions in it). Skip if everyone gets a DM. 5. SEND, THEN REPORT Send the DMs and any fallback message right away, with no approval step. Afterwards, show me a summary: recipient (name, Slack handle), DM or fallback, and a link to each message. Never send gifts automatically.
