Planning & Reminders
Alert senders to upcoming gifting holidays
Draft a Slack alert about upcoming public holidays with eligible Reachdesk gift recommendations, then review it in a direct message before posting to your team.
When to use it
You want to help your team plan gifts for public holidays in selected countries. Provide the channel, countries, lookahead window, budget and an optional send-link template. Requires Reachdesk, Slack and web search for official government calendars.
What your AI assistant does
- Asks once for any missing settings, then verifies holiday dates and regional coverage using official government calendars.
- Finds eligible active Reachdesk campaigns and selects 2–3 Reachdesk marketplace gifts per holiday within the local-currency budget, excluding unsupported customization and alcohol unless requested.
- Drafts the requested Slack format with gift details and supported send links, without product photos or invented delivery claims.
- Shows the draft for approval, then sends it to you by direct message for a visual check.
- Posts to the channel only after you approve and requires explicit confirmation before any gift is sent.
Example prompt
Ready-to-use prompt
Alert my team in Slack about upcoming public holidays and suggest Reachdesk gifts they can send.
SETTINGS (edit these)
- Slack channel: [#channel-name]
- Countries: [e.g. United Kingdom, Germany]
- Window: [2-4 weeks / the next X weeks]
- Max budget per gift: [e.g. £50 / €60 / $75]
- Send link (optional): [leave blank to link to the Reachdesk campaign page, or paste a link template that opens your own AI assistant or workflow with a pre-filled request]
STEPS
1. Find the holidays. Search for the official government calendar for each country and list holidays that fall in my window. If none fall in the window, say so and show the next ones after it. Give each holiday's date and where it applies, noting any regional-only holidays. Only use dates from the source, and tell me which source you used. If you can't verify a date, flag it instead of guessing.
2. Find the gifts. Using the Reachdesk integration, find active Reachdesk campaigns that can send to each country and fit my budget. Then pick 2-3 Reachdesk marketplace gifts per holiday or occasion, priced in the local currency. Skip gifts that need an image or logo I can't set when sending, and don't recommend alcohol unless I ask. Never invent delivery deadlines or guarantees. If Reachdesk doesn't publish one, don't mention it.
3. Write the Slack message in this exact format:
- A short, upbeat headline, then one line of hook.
- The holidays, one per line, with date and location.
- The gift list. Each gift is one line: name, brand, price, a short reason it's a good pick, and a "Send gift" link. If I gave a send link template, fill it in with the gift, campaign and price. Otherwise link to the Reachdesk campaign page for the campaign that can send it.
- End the message after the gift list. No other sections.
- Use standard emoji characters (🎄 🎁 🍫), not Slack shortcodes. No product photos or cards.
4. Show me the draft here and wait for my approval. Then send it as a direct message to me first so I can check how it looks. Only post to the channel after I say so.
RULES
- Never send any gift automatically. Gifts only go out when a person confirms.
- Don't send anything to Slack until I approve.
- If anything I need to provide is missing, ask once before starting.
